An exceptional new Special Edition revives one of the greatest tales of heroism in horological history: the partnership between Panerai and the commandos of the Italian Navy. The iconic Panerai Submersible is the focus of the new watches just introduced at SIHH from the Swiss/Florentine manufacture.
Young, dynamic, yet rugged and masculine, the novelties embody the purest Panerai style. One of them is Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech 47mm - green index and strap combination model which will be limited to 33 units only. This professional diver's watch is a 33 pieces Limited Edition as the gold medal of the Comsubin group. Its masculine military green theme highlights the camouflage look of this ultimate military watch.
It bears an engraving of the logo of the Comando Subacquei Incorso, the special forces of the Italian Navy.
The lucky owners of PAM00961 models will experience training together with the Comsubin group, which provides diving and commando training in the Italian Navy.

The two new Panerai Submersible watches embody the personality of professional diving watches in a diameter of just 42 mm. The first is characterized by the classic black ceramic disc on the rotating bezel. Dial, unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel and rubber strap are black with white markers clearly visible even in the dark.
The second is represented by the blue ceramic disc on the rotating bezel. This watch combines the style of the blue rubber strap and unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel with the shark grey of the dial. The sporty rubber strap fitted to the 42mm steel watch is perfect for diving and very tough choice for everyday use.
The two new Submersible Carbotech watches, available in the more compact 42mm version and as the striking 47mm model, are made of an extraordinary carbon-based material, lighter than steel and titanium, that combines exceptional performance with a highly sporty identity, and they share the same sleek looks.
Carbotech™ has an uneven, matt black appearance, which varies according the cutting of the material: the result is that each Panerai watch is unique and utterly exclusive.
The matte black Carbotech case is complemented by vibrant blue accents and details found in the dial markers, dial printing, and bezel markers, and a blacked-out titanium caseback completes the charming package.
