The manufacture's surprising arrival declares the brand's beloved cushion-shaped case – in smaller, slimmer dimensions. It transforms the Panerai's military legacy to Italian-style creative watchmaking luxury, drawing inspiration from a heritage that's been around for nearly a century. The result is impressive - a collection that quickly becomes a success with women.
With a diameter of only 38 mm, the new Luminor Due has the unmistakable Panerai design suitable for every wrist and situation.
Panerai expects the majority of the Luminor Due 38 customers to be women. The Luminor Due is the thinnest and most versatile of Panerai’s creations.
Its elegant, logical design, with pure, minimalist lines is the result of a sophisticated technical reworking of the historic Luminor design.
From its famed crown-protecting bridge to the unique sandwich-style dial and the characteristic semi-cushion case design, these timepiece exude modernized vintage styling at its best.
It retains the iconic elements we love about the Panerai Luminor: the sandwich dial, with luminous material showing through the numeral cutouts on the upper dial; the minimalist dial with only two numerals, a discreet small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and the iconic crown guard.
There is also a date window for the first time in the Luminor Due collection.
Set within a 38 mm polished stainless steel case, the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass and presented on a distinct green leather strap. Driven by an automatic movement, this stunning time accessory offers a 3-day power reserve and is water resistant up to 30 metres. The buckle is also made of AISI 316L stainless steel – Panerai's material par excellence, since it is highly resistant to corrision and is hypoallergenic, making it ideal for contact with the skin.
