Panerai built its reputation on sizable, outstanding timepieces made for underwater activities and adventure. For decades, the brand aesthetic was distinct; robust, bold and masculine.
But, in more recent period we have witnessed a change – a shift toward more compact wristwatches. Accordingly, atelier Panerai has presented classy Luminor Due lineup. The smallest of the titanium trio is the charming Luminor Due 38mm, PAM00926, powered by extraordinary automatic P.900 movement.
Keeping with the heritage of the Luminor family, Panerai remains innovative in its attitude and character.
The new Luminor Due 38mm have been redesigned in terms of size, marking a new chapter in the modern history of the brand. Mesmerising blue dial promotes sophisticated Arabic numerals and hour numbers, while fully achieving Panerai’s iconic level of visual identity.
Like most Panerai models, Luminor Due 38mm has a distinctive sandwich dial construction - a layer of beige-colored Super-Luminova is set between a base plate and the dial with silhouettes for the indicators that let the luminescent pigment shine through.
In addition to the mentioned hands and indices treated with beige Super-LumiNova, blue dial hosts a date window at 3 o’clock and small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock.
Panerai Luminor Due is equipped with movement and quickly changeable straps. Panerai Luminor Due 38mm is also water resistant to a depth of 30 meters.
Panerai Luminor Due with 38mm diameter, cased in titanium and with a sunburst blue dial could be equally a choice of those male collectors with slim wrists, as well of ladies. PAM00926 is the model with the most modest dimensions in Panerai portfolio.
It is also the first Luminor Due that harmoniously connects compact size and a titanium case. The new P.900 calibre with a thickness of 4.2 mm introduced in the 38mm dimension is one of the thinnest automatic movements produced at the Panerai Manufacture. Inside the sturdy and light case is Panerai’s automatic Caliber P.900, with a power reserve of three days and date display.
