Robust, simple and functional: for many years the Luminor Logo represents everything Panerai enthusiast love about the brand. Originally designed for the special forces of the Italian Navy, the Luminor collection definitely has iconic status. Through the years, Luminor has been reinvented in many ways, maintaining the traditional features that made the range so honored.
In Luminor Logo version the hand-wound movement comes in a 44mm case, which retains the Luminor’s exemplary silhouette. In addition, the Caliber P.6000 provides 3 days of running autonomy.
The lines of the Luminor are inspired by the famous predecessors. Firstly, there is familiar case with its signature shape and lever-operated crown.
Then, there are the unique lugs and the wide, smooth bezel.
Of course, there has to be legible dial, with almost exclusively center hands pointing to a mixture of oversized Arabic numerals, simple indexes and small second subdial – all coated with luminescence for optimal legibility in the dark.
Panerai Luminor Logo 44mm is the result of a superior craftsmanship and original design. The only decorative element on the dial is the blue OP logo; all the other details are purely functional, faithful to the Panerai history.
The OP on the logo consists of two interwined letters, with two arrows pointing up and down. This refers to Panerais history with the Royal Italian Navy.
In the early history of the brand, Panerai made instruments not only for underwater operations but also for aviation purposes and this arrowed logo simbolically covers both.
Perfect for underwater adventures, this Panerai Luminor Logo is also suitable for every other ambience. Set within a 44mm stainless steel case, black dial plays host to luminescent hands for optimum visibility in low light conditions. The originaly shaped caseback is printed with the inscription Officine Panerai Firenze 1860, along with the Panerai Logo and an indication of water resistance up to 100 meters. A striking blue canvas strap with secure buckle completes the sporty look.
Tudor Black Bay was born out of a desire to create a timepiece that was durable, accurate, and elegant – a simple goal to state but an extremely difficult one to achieve.
