Panerai's line continues to evolve at this years's in Geneva with two completely new collections. Six timepieces make up this year’s Luminor Logo lineup receiving fresh visual appearence, while new Luminor Due comes in three diferent sizes – 45, 42 and for the first time in history - 38 millimeters.
The actual trend toward smaller watches has arrived at Panerai, whose latest Luminor Due is 38 millimeters in diameter, making it the most compact watch that Florentine company has ever made. In terms of design, the new Panerai has the unmistakable design, suitable for the most elegant occasions. The all new Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio 38 comes in three versions. The most exclusive version is enchanting Oro Rosso gold model. The movement powering the watch is an automatic - the caliber OPXXXIV. Traditionals among Paneristi will be able to choose between 42 and 45 millimeters, with the prestigious Luminor Due 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Automatic Acciaio version.
Also, the all new Luminor Base Logo is now distinguished by the minimalism of its lines - a sports watch with a striking, minimalist design, this model’s only decorative element is the OP logo on the dial. Its elegant, logical design, with pure, minimalist lines, is the result of a sophisticated technical reworking of the historic Luminor design. The Luminor case in polished AISI 316L stainless steel, 44mm in diameter, expresses solidity and strength. You can choose between black or white dial versions, with various canvas or leather straps. Officine Panerai Luminor Base Logo features the P.6000 hand-wound movement, with a three-day power reserve.
This year, the brand also adds two special editions to the exclusive portfolio – impressive Lo Scienziato and highly innovative L'Astronomo. With its titanium case Lo Scienziato - Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT is undoubtedly one of the most innovative and surprising creations of the Panerai Manufacture. The Luminor 1950 case has the classic diameter of 47 mm and it is made of titanium. In the new model the blue of the hands, harmonising with the metallic tones of the titanium case, is also used on the flange and in the sewing of the black leather strap, giving the watch an even sportier appearance. The P.2005 mechanical movement, the hand-wound calibre with the special Tourbillon patented by Panerai, appears in the breathtaking Lo Scienziato. On the other hand, L'Astronomo Luminor 1950 Tourbillon Moon Phases Equation of Time GMT is Panerai's first watch featuring moon phases indicator and an innovatice system using polarised crystals for the date. Inspired by the formidable work of Galileo Galilei in interpreting moon phases, brought to you by the mastery of Panerai. As well as the moon phases indicator, the hand-wound P.2005/GLS calibre also has the characteristic Panerai Tourbillon escapement, which can be admired both from the front as well as from the back of the watch thanks the sophisticated work of Skeletonising the movement and the absence of an actual dial.
Furthermore, Officine Panerai is proud to present the new hand-wound P.6000 calibre, delivering the hours and minutes functions and 3-day power reserve.
