In 2014 Officine Panerai launches its new P.9003 movement, completely developed and made in the Officine Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel. Its characteristic feature is the GMT 24H function, with second time zone indication on the edge of the Luminor 1950 dial, fitted with an automatic in-house movement.

The P.9003 movement has 28 jewels, it is made of 233 components and its balance wheel oscillates at a frequency of 4 Hz, equivalent to 28,800 alternations per hour. The automatic P.9003 caliber, coupled with a 3-day power reserve make for a truly reliable and accurate device.
