EACH WATCH IS A UNIQUE PERFECTION
EACH WATCH IS A UNIQUE PERFECTION

A TUDOR watch lives. Pulsates. It will take you into the world of micro-precision. The high technology in all components are relentlessly tested to the smallest detail - to the point of obsession. Aesthetics and performance fit for the most demanding of products, designed for endurance as much as pleasure. Exceptional materials, durability and strength of design make each watch a unique object.

AN ICONIC DIVERS’ WATCH
AN ICONIC DIVERS’ WATCH

The TUDOR Black Bay derives its overall lines and its domed crystal from the brand’s first divers’ watch, the TUDOR Submariner reference 7922, launched in 1954. It also owes to its ancestor its domed dial, a feature shared by the first TUDOR Submariner models, but which had since vanished. Its imposing winding crown is a nod to a model presented in 1958 under reference 7924 and dubbed “Big Crown” by collectors. Its characteristic angular hands, known by connoisseurs as “snowflakes”, were seen from 1969 to the early 1980s.

THE TUDOR MANUFACTURE CALIBRE

In 2015, TUDOR announced its first Manufacture Calibre in its history, certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). This high-performance calibre of excellent precision and proven robustness offers a 70-hour power reserve, meaning that its wearer can, for example, take off the watch on Friday evening and put it on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. It reaches a frequency of 28,800 beat/hour or 4Hz.

The fabric strap

TUDOR creates timepieces in an innovative and unique way by equipping them with fabric straps meticulously fashioned by a company that perpetuates an over century-old artistic craft. They bring an additional touch of style that reinforces the resolutely modern and sophisticated TUDOR identity.

Thanks to a production process including unique hand-made skills, the straps developed for TUDOR endow the watch with a unique dimension expressing cutting-edge style and ensuring peerless comfort on the wrist.

High tech ceramic

TUDOR has developed for the first time a case completely fashioned in high-tech injected ceramic. The whole case of the Fastrider Black Shield is produced as a single piece – a unique operation for watches in this segment. This technological expertise also equips other models in the collection like the bezel of the Pelagos, the TUDOR North Flag and the TUDOR Fastrider Chrono. The ceramic is virtually impervious to scratches, and its colour is unaffected by ultraviolet rays. The result is, naturally, quite out of the ordinary, powerful and unique.

Pelagos titanium bracelet

The Pelagos stands out with its titanium bracelet featuring a steel folding clasp with a unique auto-adjustable spring mechanism developed and patented by TUDOR. This technical system allows the bracelet to be adjusted during the dive, contracting when the combination is compressed at greater depths, and expanding when the pressure decreases again during the diver’s return to the surface. An additional rubber strap is provided with an extension system making it easily adjustable for all diving conditions.
