In its most grandiose form, with a case diameter of 41 millimeters, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 looks absolutely stunning on the wrist. Seen here with an Oystersteel exterior equipped with a fluted bezel, the Datejust 41 combines its renowned elegance with a monochromatic, yet stylish look.
The caseband and caseback, as well as all the links in the Jubilee bracelet and the clasp are crafted from Oystersteel, while the fluted bezel, the hands and the indices are made from 18ct white gold. Notably, the fluted bezel on any and every Rolex watch, is exclusively crafted from a variation of 18ct gold — specifically 18ct white gold, yellow gold or Everose gold. Never from Oystersteel or platinum.
Many dial options are available for the Datejust 41 — and each choice changes the mood and appearance of this iconic model with great effect.
With a charcoal grey, sunburst finished dial, this particular reference offers highly contrasting, luminescent indices and hands which neatly complement the trademark date aperture at the 3 o’clock position.
Legibility remains exceptional day in or out, owing to the hands and indices which feature large areas covered with Rolex’s Chromalight glow-in-the-dark displays.
The gently curved case profile contrasts beautifully against the reflective facets of the fluted bezel. The five-link Jubilee bracelet harkens back to the first half of the 20th century, having been acknowledged as à la mode ever since.
The sublime wearing comfort of the Datejust 41 is guaranteed by this stunning bracelet, as well as its Oysterclasp folding clasp.
Powered by the Manufacture Rolex Caliber 3235, the Datejust 41 is indeed a Superlative Chronometer that has passed the stringent timekeeping tests of the independent COSC chronometer certifying institute, as well as Rolex’s yet more detailed and all-encompassing in-house quality controls.
