Rolex Sky-Dweller
Reference 326938

Following the introduction of a range of new dials on the Sky-Dweller White Rolesor and Yellow Rolesor versions, these new faces of the Sky-Dweller have at last debuted on models presented with full 18ct yellow gold or Everose gold exteriors.

The dials, characterized by their stick hour markers, more contemporary aesthetic and further enhanced legibility, are available in a variety of color styles, depending on the case material.

The Sky-Dweller we have introduced in great detail previously in two variants of Yellow Rolesor and in Everose gold with the striking-looking anthracite dial, and so it is only right if we present the 18ct yellow gold variant.

The Sky-Dweller combines a main time display, a second time zone display, the annual calendar's instantaneous date display, as well as a 12-month display at the periphery of the dial with the unique Ring Command bezel and crown system. Outstanding technical complexity meets remarkable ease of use, as well as Rolex accuracy and reliability

From the champagne, white and black colored dial options our choice is the black, subtly brushed piece with 18ct yellow gold hands and applied hour markers as well as applied Rolex Crown at the 12 o'clock position. Why? When observed in person, the black dial variant creates a unique and special connection with the rest of the watch and especially its 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel.

The fluted bezel, machined with absolutely unparalleled accuracy by Rolex, has a charming tendency of appearing in shiny, reflective 18ct yellow gold or, on some of its facets, in black.

Exceptional legibility meets effortless style with the 18 carat yellow gold Sky-Dweller

As the watch moves around during normal wear and light meets its fluted bezel in endlessly varying ways, the individual facets of the fluted bezel vividly change between bright and dark surfaces – the result is a discreet, yet astonishing play of lights.

What the black dial does is complement this unique visual treat: the black reflections on the facets of the fluted bezel appear to be extensions of the black dial, as though the latter was visually complemented and completed by the former.

In watchmaking, the real challenge that is scarcely overcome even by the very best, is in designing and manufacturing details in such a way that the owner of the timepiece can immediately, easily and frequently appreciate – even if identifying these individual traits are impossible for those outside the closed circles of fine watchmaking.

The fluted bezel – exclusively crafted from gold on Rolex timepieces – creates a versatile and endlessly varying play of light, thanks to its countless beautifully crafted facets

In practice, a quick glance at the Sky-Dweller in this 18ct yellow gold and black dial configuration is a prime example to this aforementioned obscure idea: there is no time of day and no occasion when this outstanding combination of dial, bezel and case would fall short of amazing their wearer.

The 18 carat yellow gold variant of the Sky-Dweller is available in black, champagne and white dial options, all with their applied stick hour markers for a more contemporary style

With its 42-millimeter-wide case, ingenious Ring Command system, annual calendar – with its months displayed by the block apertures at the end of each hour marker, and second time-zone display, the Sky-Dweller is among the most complex and complicated timepieces Rolex has ever conceived and manufactured, further enforcing its special place within the Oyster Perpetual collection.

The Sky-Dweller in 18 carat yellow gold looks and feels second to none. Purposeful, functional, elegant and confident – it is everything the best watch for daily wear should be

Beautifully crafted and engineered with utmost perfection in mind, the Sky-Dweller – in any of its numerous configurations – makes for an extraordinary timepiece companion during everyday wear.

We would be delighted to present you a selection of Sky-Dweller pieces, crafted from a variety of materials and dials, in our Petite Geneve Petrovic Authorized Rolex boutiques in Budapest, Belgrade and Porto Montenegro.
